  • SFI ERC Development Programme

    This programme is designed to encourage excellent but recently unsuccessful ERC applicants to resubmit to the ERC. To increase Irish success in future ERC calls. To improve the success rate of Irish-based applicants who resubmit to the ERC.

  • Consultancy Services Grant

    This scheme provides assistance to small and medium sized enterprises (SME’s) for the provision of expert advice in the required areas to assist in the long term development of the enterprise

    The aims of the SFI ERC Support Programme are: To enhance the benefits of applying to ERC schemes for institutions and applicants To increase the participation of Irish-based researchers in all ERC schemes To provide greater institutional support for Irish-based ERC awardees

ERC awardee (from any year) recruited to work in an Irish Host Institution: The award may depend on the time remaining on the ERC award and will depend on the type of ERC award held, as follows: - ERC Starting Grant: up to €500,000 - ERC Consolidator Grant: up to €750,000 - ERC Advanced Grant: up to €1,000,000

  • Development of Market Research Skills

    This initiative aims to develop the market development skills of small and medium sized enterprises (SME’s) by providing support towards internal costs which they may incur when researching new markets for products and services.

    Eligible Cost base • Salaries of existing company staff currently working on an agreed market research programme. • Travel and subsistence cost (rate € 200 per person per day) for the same staff. • Internal costs incurred in test marketing of products/services in new markets. State Aid Limits •Maximum grant of 50% up to € 80,000 on eligible costs from 01/01/02 forward (£60,000 to 31/12/01).
