Con la finalidad de dinamizar consorcios que puedan conseguir proyectos que vayan en línea con las prioridades del Plan de Acción del Atlántico y que contribuyan a revitalizar las economías marinas y marítimas de las regiones Atlánticas Europeas, la Dirección General de Asuntos Marítimos y Pesqueros de la Comisión Europea creó el Mecanismo de Asistencia al Plan de Acción de Atlántico, con el doble objetivo de crear una red de agentes con potencial para llevar a cabo proyectos en línea con las prioridades del Plan de Acción y también de ofrecer información sobre los diferentes instrumentos de financiación que se pueden utilizar para llevar a cabo dichos proyectos.
El Objetivo del Workshop Somos Atlánticos es facilitar el intercambio de información y la formación de potenciales consorcios que puedan acceder a las diferentes convocatorias europeas disponibles. El evento es gratuito y se estructura en dos sesiones plenarias por la mañana, en las que se mostrarán diferentes fuentes de financiación disponibles (H2020, LIFE+, COSME, Programas de cooperación Transfronteriza y la utilización de Fondos Estructurales), y 4 sesiones paralelas por la tarde. En cada una de las sesiones paralelas tres ponentes antecederán la formación de grupos de trabajo orientados a cada una de las temáticas escogidas.
El Equipo de Apoyo al Plan de Acción del Atlántico promocionará las ideas de proyectos que se esbocen durante la jornada y facilitará acceso a potenciales socios en los diferentes países Atlánticos Europeos cuando fuese necesario.

This innovation Platform – to be open this year in Bouguenais – will focus on shipbuilding and marine renewable energy. The platform represents an investment of nearly 40 million euros from the government and the European Union and could accommodate 320-340 jobs. It will bring together researchers and technicians from the IRT Jules Verne and industrial partners such as DCNS, ACB, ALSTOM, HydrOcean, STX, DASSAULT SYSTEMES. Olmix and four SMEs in Bretagne have joined to develop full recovery of algae, new materials and open new markets for export. The group, called ULVANS (ULves VAlorisation Nutrition Santé), aims to create a new sector of revaluation of algae in Bretagne, from harvesting to processing into innovative products in the areas of nutrition and health, animal and plant, and its marketing around the world.
