    The grant provides funding over a three year period for up to 40% of the amount claimed on boats over 12 meters and 60% for boats under 12 meters. The maximum amount that you can receive depends on the size of your boat. In addition maximum eligible costs apply for each individual item: - Vessels equal to or greater than 24 metres: max. grant €20,000 - Vessels equal to or greater than 18 metres and under 24 metres: max. grant €15,000 - Vessels equal to or greater than 15 metres and under 18 metres: max. grant €10,000 - Vessels less than 15 metres: max. grant €6,000

  • BIM’s Enhanced Safety Training Scheme is a 1-day course designed to provide the skipper and crews of registered fishing vessels with on-going training in personal survival techniques, first aid, fire fighting, and health and safety in the workplace

  • Apply for grant funding to help improve the safety of your marine tourism vessels.

    Budget: 
    The grant provides funding for up to 40% of the amount claimed - No minimum level of expenditure applies to this scheme. - The grant aid available in respect of any vessel is 40% of the total eligible costs, subject to the cumulative grant not exceeding €3,000 for this or any previous application in the three years up to the date of approval of this application.

  • This programme is designed to encourage excellent but recently unsuccessful ERC applicants to resubmit to the ERC. To increase Irish success in future ERC calls. To improve the success rate of Irish-based applicants who resubmit to the ERC.

    Project Type 1: Organic Aquaculture A maximum of €10,000 or 50% (30% for non-SMEs) of eligible expenditure, whichever is the lesser, per project per year. Projects Type 2: Biotoxin Harvesting Suspension A maximum of €100,000 or 50% (30% for non-SMEs) of eligible losses, whichever is the lesser, per beneficiary, subject to the maximum total aid to all farmers of €500,000 per year. Individual benefi ciaries will be limited to one aid payment over the period of the Programme.
