Budget:
Two levels of grant aid will be offered to individual or group applications for:
Solely vessels 12m or less and using non-towed gear
• Individual applications – 70%
• Group applications – 75%
In certain circumstances, agreed in advance with the managing authority, these rates may be increased to a maximum of 80%.
Vessels greater than 12m and less than 15m
• Individual applications – 50%
• Group applications – 60%

The grant provides funding for up to 40% of the amount claimed
- No minimum level of expenditure applies to this scheme.
- The grant aid available in respect of any vessel is 40% of the total eligible costs, subject to the cumulative grant not exceeding €3,000 for this or any previous application in the three years up to the date of approval of this application.

This application should be used for projects relating to:
• innovation in aquaculture
• productive investments in aquaculture
• investments in aquaculture
• management, relief and advisory services for aquaculture farms
• promotion of aquaculture human capital, networking, training and education
Feasibility study grant aid is available to groups, organisations, businesses or individuals to allow them assess the viability of a business idea
